Absolute Beginners’ Running Group (Summer) @ Huncote Pavilion

As the name suggests this is for anyone who is new to running with little or even no experience at all but would like to give it a go. It is a good entry level group with the emphasis on fun rather than fitness! It involves a mixture of running and walking, covering no more than 3 miles at a very gentle pace.

Advanced Beginners’ Group (Summer) @ Huncote Pavilion

This is for people who may be returning to running after a break or who have some experience but may feel uncomfortable for whatever reason joining a “proper” running group. It is still a confidence-building beginners’ group and we aim to cover a distance of 4 to 4.5 miles at a very gentle pace.

Club Track Session @ Ratcliffe College

We are holding four track sessions at Ratcliffe College (post code is LE7 4SG) which is accessed via the A46. There is a one-way system through the school campus – you will need to follow the road through the campus, heading for the sports hall car park which is adjacent to the track. There is room for 45 cars in this car park.

Sessions are booked for Tuesdays on the 11th, 18th, 25th July and 1st Aug 7-8pm.

Members should aim to arrive early for their first session so we can explain things without using up track time i.e. 6.45pm.

If members want to wear spikes the maximum spike size is 6mm.

These sessions are free to all club members as the club is funding the cost of these sessions.
